When I stare at your picture
Even for a short amount of time
I can clearly see me in you
It serves as reason and rhyme

Sometimes when I do that
I get overcome with emotion
But I think you know by now
I'm filled with deep devotion

It's like I'm looking in the mirror
But instead of me, I'm seeing you
My soul's reflection is us
An amazing thing. Who knew?

I see the me in you
I see the you in me
What a wonderful gift that is
