Soliloquy About He

I wonder if he can feel
The depths of my love for him inside
Does he feel it in the pit of his soul
When I get scared and try to hide

Does he know that I go to God
To ask him how to love His son
He said, "My daughter, just love him.
As I've told you, he's the one."

Does he even realize
That he's always on my mind
Does he know that I love him
Because he's smart, sweet and kind

Does he know that at times
I feel sad and depressed
Because I feel inadequate
Since he deserves the best

Does he know my love is not of this world
When he sees the tears running down my face
Does he know our love and life together
Is on reserve for that perfect place

Does he know I'm writing this soliloquy
Of course! I tell him everything I do
If I could tell him only one thing
It would be "Honey, I love you."

The Fever

I have a fatal fever
For I am indeed lovesick
 Every second I pine away for you
My heart takes one less tick

 For you were born a man within a boy
Then a boy within a man
Through it all I loved you so
So I pray for you as hard as I can

I feel your love from a distance
But I think I soon will perish
Because my soul contained flesh is weakened
Without you to hold and cherish

Put me out of my misery
Please take away my pain
Bring me home there with you
So I may live again

 

He Is

He's there for me
When no one else is
That is why
My love is his

He's my family
He takes care of me
Though faraway
He behaves lovingly

He doesn't neglect me
Or leave me behind
Even if we're apart
I'm still on his mind

His love is unconditional
He readily forgives
Always teaching me new things
In him is where my love lives

The Waiting

Lonely for affection
Only want what's authentic

Though I'm perceived as eccentric
