Got a new TV today
A 47 inch
To help someone out
Who was in a pinch

You'd think I'd be ecstatic
Way nicer than my old set
But ironically I cried
Guess I ain't happy yet

There's literally nothing material
That can make me a happy girl
Just being with the one I love
Not even diamonds or pearls

I guess it's sage advice
Not to get attached to worldly things
Because at the end of the day
It's only love that can give you wings

I'll just wait and be a good girl
Keeping my eyes on the prize
For good things come to those that wait
Probably sooner than I realize
