Child Of God

I'm a child of God
Nothing more or less
Because of that
I am truly blessed 

Don't have much money
Or material things
But I have the love
Of which my soul sings

I don't have a title
I have no fortune or fame
I am a child of God
That's my one claim

I have nothing to prove
To anyone other than Him
He provides my light
When things are dim

I'm nothing else
But a child of God
Anything else
To me would be odd
