Poetry From My Heart~ Nomy Jackson

These are my poems, from my heart. Some are to God,some are to my Bronze Adonis ,some are just for fun and in general (Songs to match the mood of the poem...or is it the other way around? hmmm...)

You Did This To Me

You Did This

You did this to me

You made me crazy

You did it with zeal

You were not lazy

I was living my life

In the midst of hell

You barreled right in

You rang my bell

I was merely existing

But spiritually dead

Like a thief in the night

You got into my head

I sorta knew of you before

But then you instantly changed

We were immediately acquainted

It was Divinely arranged

You came right in

Awoke me from the illusion

You showed me the truth

Through all my confusion

You made me crazy

You turned my world upside down

I've never been the same

I don't know blue from brown

You questioned all I thought I knew

You forced me into reality

You dismissed the false dream I lived

And showered me with actuality

Yes, because of you, I'm crazy now

Being real in an illusionary world, what else can you be

But I wouldn't change it for anything

My gratitude and love is your possession for eternity

Nomy Jackson
My name is Nomy Jackson. Born and raised on the far south side of Chicago. Of Jamaican-American ethnicity. I love God and people that love God. I love food and love other foodies. I have so much love for a certain individual that that time, place and eternity has no boundaries... he is the muse of most of my poetry
