The Plan

You had to go
So I could fall
The only way
To shatter the wall

The invisible wall
Of untruth
You had to lead me
To the proof

If the status quo remained
How would I ever know
What I was missing
So you had to go

It was part of the plan
That it was your time to leave
It shattered my perception
So I truly believe

Such a roundabout way
For things come to be
