I received the greatest gift today
It wasn't jewelry or clothes
It wasn't a car or a trip
After this, who needs those?

You gave me the gift of love
And I don't mean the romantic kind
You gave me love unselfish and pure
The kind I thought I'd never find

You knew I was struggling with an issue
One you'd struggled with before
Like a slap in the face you showed me the truth
