Barrier Of Invisibility

Looking at your picture on the wall
You are looking right through me
We share the same desperation
As we feel that gnawing familiarity

The only thing standing in the way
Is that barrier of invisibility
When I finally penetrate it
It will open up so much possibility

In the meantime we walk,talk and laugh
Sing, tell stories and dance
Eat, cry, make funny faces
Listen to music and make romance

I'll keep climbing over the mountain
Because being there with you is my goal
I can feel your hand reaching for me
I'll soon be there to complete our soul
