Hiding Out In The Open

Ain't no secret 
Unspoken but known
It's not very hidden
It's openly shown

Well, maybe I really  am
Hiding out in the open 
Maybe it makes no difference
That's what I'm hopin'

I don't really care
I have no shame
It's  who  I am
It's no game


It is what it is
And I am proud
If someone asks
I'll  say it out loud

I'm just a quiet person
I prefer to listen than speak
Not a big, flashy one
Just kinda shy and meek

But if anyone asks specifically
I'll privately let them know
Let them know the secret
Of what makes me glow
