Revelation

I just had a revelation
About something I heard you'd said
You said those words
And now you are dead

Death isn't the end
Like some do believe
It's just moving home
This is what I conceive

You said you had choices
Because God told you so
So you decided it was best
That you should go

You thought it was best
For all those involved
The way you figured
Problem would be solved

By some crazy fashion
Your solution was true
A cloud on many was lifted
So unselfish of you

There's only one wrinkle
In your cunning plan
I miss you Earthly presence
I cry whenever I can

So though our spirits interact
And I feel the love so true
Doesn't take away from the fact
I long to be in the same place as you
