I love your mother
Because she took care of you
God placed her in your arms
And she knew just what to do

She cared for you as  baby
And as a little boy
She really loved you
And you brought her joy

As it is in this world
People got in the way
From her safe nest
You were made to stray

No matter what happened
Both good and bad
She tried to always be there
With the love that she had

When you were grown
