My loneliness is overwhelming
But do you know what's stronger?
My undying love for you
So I must hold out a bit longer

It goes back and forth
Which force will win
Loneliness versus love
A battle from within

But at the end of the day
My love will always trump
Just need to find some ways
To get over the loneliness hump

The loneliness I have
Can be only cured by you
The companionship of others
It just won't really do

Present, though out of sight
But the day I get to hold you
