Changes

You've put me through so many changes
Over the past few years
 I've learned about so many things
I've shed so many tears

Back and forth confusion
Of if it's real or not
Time and time again
You prove it's right on spot 

I knew my life wasn't normal
Ever since I was a kid
I tried very hard to force it
Behind the facade I hid

It took so many decades
For you to come along
Through God's grace and glory
You showed me right from wrong

I'v come to terms with the fact
We must wait for when the time is right
For us to be together
