Admiration

How could I possibly pity
The one whom I deeply admire
How can I not think the best of you
When I am the one you chose to inspire

Some see you as a victim
Some believe you did bad
I don't believe either
Their beliefs make me sad

I see a man who made mistakes
As all us humans do
But you stood up and fought til the end
This is why I admire you

When I look at pictures of you
In your eyes I see the man that you are
And I hope when you look down at me
You see my love for you bright as a star
