Dear Ishi's mother,
I wanted to take the opportunity to wish you a happy mother's day. I know you probably never will see this and I know you aren't really into the whole mother's day thing. But it's important to me that I just get it "out there".
Thank you for conceiving him and nourishing him in your womb for nine months. Thank you for giving him all the motherly love he needed as a baby and small child. Thank you for exposing him to good things and teaching him values. Thank you for expanding his mind. Thank you for encouraging his voracious reading habits. Thank you for certain other things which we both ended up having in common because of our mother's influence.
I thank you for these things, because that helped shaped this wonderful ,sweet,kind,generous ,VERY smart,talented and funny guy. Most of all, thank you for instilling the love and honor of God in him. As one child of God to another, it's so lovely to recognize and be bonded because of it. No one is perfect and we all have made mistakes, but we know we are forgiven. Thank you.
Oh and thank you for his dna. Thank his father ,too since he gets much of his handsome good looks from him as well ,haha.
