Sunday morning
Cold and cloudy
Some are recovering
After a night of being rowdy
Then there are others
Who are in church
Are they really looking for God?
Are they really on a search?
Some are working
For themselves or others
Some of the enjoy it and others don't
They'd be elsewhere if they had their druthers
Some are sleeping
Some are taking care of their house or kids
Some of them are at peace
Some have done flipped their lids!
As for me,myself
I sit here long-suffering and contemplating
Longing to be next to you
Enjoying the life together we'll be creating
