The gift to completely be myself
No longer do I have to hide the real me
No longer putting the truth on the shelf
You also let me work out my insecurities
By turning the tables around on me
You forced me to face things and get closure
Made me see we BOTH have pasts that we let be
Though we don't have a conventional relationship
For now it works for us and fills my soul
I'll thank the Lord for eternity
For choosing me to make you whole
