An Angel Came To Me

An angel came to me last night while I was in a deep sleep. The deepest sleep I'd had in a while.

The angel posed a question to me. I didn't remember the question until hours after I'd awoken. I knew the angel left the question for me to ponder. Whispered it into my ear and let me continue to sleep.

After my coffee,morning prayer, little something to eat and my mind fully awake, I somehow remembered the question while thinking of the one I love.

"My dear Nomy," said the angel, "God knows of all the desires in your heart. He has put them there. If I could offer you 40 more years in the world as you know it but with promised security and health- a beautiful home in the location of your dreams,lovely clothes, a nice car, jewelry, friends,fun and  never wanting for anything as long as you live OR to go to a place where you don't know what to expect other than to be with the one you love forever under the loving safety of your heavenly father's watch. You won't know what your new life will be like. You may or may not have what you know in your current existence to be the best. All you know is you will be with the one you love. Do you have faith that it will be enough for you for eternity? Which would you choose?

Tears filled my eyes. I have what I need. I'd always wanted those extra material trappings in the past. Now I truly understand what my spirit needs to thrive.  Love. If I had to chose, I'd choose to be with the one I love. Even with no expectations or clues of what my new reality will be like other than being forever loved by the one I love in the way he has shown me already and under the safety of God's love and care.

 This, lovely angel, is what I would choose.

I look forward to hearing the angel's response...

The Light

I see a heavenly light shining down on you
A beautiful aura only I can see
You and the aura are invisible to others
Yet the presence means the world to me

The light was there my whole life through
Sometimes I took it for granted
There'd been times I acted like it didn't matter
For my foolish ways, I've since recanted

Then one day the light flickered out
And then I died inside
I called for you, you came and forgave me
Since then you've never left my side

You and I are the same spirit
The world nor man can tear it asunder
The light of God cannot be denied
For He can't err or blunder

Supernatural Thing

It's a supernatural thing
The thing that is our love
There's no doubt in my mind 
A supernatural thing from God above

We didn't always know it
While busily living the illusion of life
In hindsight we see things were in motion
Though we didn't pay attention through the joys and strife

But I  was always there

Deep in our souls we knew
Of someone we couldn't put on our finger
We couldn't explain feeling haunted

It's most definitely a supernatural thing

Masculine as the virility of all men that came before him. No longer hiding behind the mask of worldly expectations. Free to be the real 'he' without fear of judgements or failure. Confidant to be true to his powerful manhood, knowing he has my love forever and I will happily and willingly submit and succumb to his manly place of honor on the pedestal of which I placed him.

Anointed by God to be the one to show me the path of lightness. All the while teaching and schooling me, yet treating me like a lady. Knowing exactly how to make me feel like a woman and embrace my womanhood. Letting me feel eternally safe and unconditionally loved. Knowing I've let go of my ego and trust him with my very soul with never a thought of taking advantage of the power I willingly gave him. He humbly and in reverence accepts his role of leading the way.

Nice. The only expectation I have as it makes everything else fall into place. Always kind,loving, and thoughtful, yet knowing when to be firm and how to get his point across. All actions, even correcting, come from a place of love and never hurts.

Truly I Say To You

My darling angel,
     I don't even know where to start. I just want to express my gratitude and acknowledge all the unselfish and unconditional love you've given me. How do I possibly thank you? There are literally not any words that can fully express the depth of my eternal thankfulness.

     I  thought I was helping you with any unfinished business on your behalf and before I knew it, you completely changed my life, saved my soul! I didn't even realize I was drowning until I held out my hand to save you. How amazing and serendipitous is that?

    You know what you did. Truly I say to you, I will spend everlasting life giving you my unconditional and unselfish love. You have my word, you will never know a moment without love,

I have so much passion

God's plan for me is getting much bolder

The only thing that feels right is doing His will
Making him proud of me gives me my fill
And He gives to me what gives me a thrill

So my new year's resolution should be no surprise
To try to always do what is right in His eyes
